SUPPORT TO MOTHERS AND NEEDIES FAMILIES

    We make several supporting works to our children's family, and also with the local community. Amonng these works, we can emphasize:

    -· Educatives, preventives, and elucidates lectures, for exemple, "Re-using of food; "Basics Notions of Hygiene and Health at Home"; "Prevention and Combat the Use of Drougs"; "Combat the Children Begging"; Prevetion of Sexually Transmitted Diseases"
    - · Distrubution of Fraternal Soup, made by the youth volunteers of the Mocidade Espirita Casa do Caminho - MECCA. About 100 litres of soup are distributed children and adults at the Daycare on Sundays after the lectures and child’s Spiritist Christhian Classes, the soup is distributed at the hospital near by the daycare, to the patients and their relatives or friends who are waiting for them.
    - · Every Tuesday and Friday night, bags with food, which we get from the Center of Food Distribution of Goiás (CEASA), are given to the families who wacth our lectures at the daycare. The lectures have the obejctive to elucidate about Christ's Teachings according to the Spiritism, with free entrace to who wants to watch it. While parents are wacthing the lectures, their children have Spiritist Christian Classes, in another room.
    -· One in a month, we distribute, besides the food we get from CEASA, rice, beans, pasta, and others.
    - · Support to pregnants and to mothers of newborns, with the distribution of newborn's clothes and nutritional complements. It is delivered, about 12 kits of newborn's clothes per month. We also give them lectures teaching about "Hygiene and Care with the Newborn"; "Health and Alimentation during pregnancy", "The Importance of a Medical Assistance During Pregnancy", "The Feeding of the babie".
