WORK PROPOSES

   We aid over fifity physical and mental deficient children, wich we assist temporarily, in their own homes, offering food, medicines, clothes and, in most of the cases, monetary help. We assist them also, with the transportation, then their parents can take them to the Doctor ou at the theraphy sessions (like fisiotherapy, phoaudiology, etc.)
   One child with physical and mental deficiency needs special care, beacuse of his/her total physics and motion dependence. They need someone to stay with them 24 hours a day. What makes the situation of these children worse is the fact of the most of their mothers are single, because thereafter their birth, many fathers runaway of the responsability for unsafety or even cowardliness.
   So, most of the case we assist it is about mothers, that because they are single, don’t have finantial conditions of taking care of their deficient children. Those children, depending integraly of their mothers, what does not allow them to work. We have one huge ideal, based in Christ's teaching: we will finish the construction that we have already begun, of the Recanto de Paz Paula Prado. At this Daycare, we will support over 150 neediest children of 0 to 7 years old and physical and mental deficient children. They will arrive at 7:00 a.m. and leave at 5:00 p.m., giving to their mothers an opportunity to work and to sustain themselves.
   The “Recanto de Paz Paula Prado”is a reality not only in our hearts, but it also has begun phisicaly. We have already had the ground, where we do some assistential works in a provisory shed we had builded, until we finish the definitive building.
